EDEN

This weekend we went to Eden with Scott and Paula Breen and their family. It was cold and rainy, but still beautiful. On Saturday we decided to brave the weather and go on a bike ride anyways. The "boys" were dropped off at the top of the trail and Paula, Ben and I went to the bottom and rode up. The top portion of the trail was extremely muddy and when we didn't see the boys we knew something was up. This is what we found when they finally made it down.

They were such a mess they decided to just ride to the lake and down the ramp at the marina to wash off. Keep in mind it is about 48 degrees outside and raining.

Ben rode with us the next day and beat Scott up the hill. As you can see Ben was exhausted and Scott was having fun telling him he was just about to catch him.

The mountain were absolutely beautiful, I know why they call it Eden now. At the house Scott was nice enough to give me some photography lessons. It was humbling to see the difference between our pictures standing in the same place with the same settings. He really is talented. I learned so much though and I am excited to take more pictures. Tacey (Scott's granddaughter) was the perfect subject. She is absolutely adorable.

Here are some other shots, just working on using light in different situations.

Ok, where do I sign up for family pictures for the holidays? Will you do it for us? Please?!?!?!? Your pictures are amazing! Your bike ride looked super fun too, minus the mud of course!

This place looks beautiful. I really miss the fall in Utah, we just don't have that here. The fall foliage is spectacular.

Good thing those stinky muddy boys washed off before going inside. Holy cow, they're dirty. You guys are like extreme now, no?

Where was my favorite Hannah?
