SPRING BREAK

We went to St.George with some friends for spring break. It was so nice to play in the sun and actually ride on dirt again!! Sarah stayed home with Cory and Liz (THANK YOU) We figured she would have a lot more fun with their kids then hanging out waiting for us to finish our bike rides. Another family that came with us had girls Whitney and Hannah's age and they quickly became friends which made the trip so much nicer for all of us. The kids loved playing in the pool.

When the Breen's got there on Thursday we went for a ride on Bear Claw. Ben came with us and video taped people going off of the "three fingers of death"

On Friday we rode Goosebery Mesa, but I didn't get any pictures.
On Saturday morning I got up early and went with Scott and his son Chris to take some sunrise landscape pictures.

It was cloudy and rainy and my pictures SUCKED! I was seriously ready to throw my camera away after seeing how much better their pictures were than mine. I am not good at landscapes and if I ever want to get better I definately need some better lenses and a new camera. At least we had an awesome ride that day. We rode the Green Valley Loop. That was the ride I got hurt on last year, so I was really nervous when we started especially with it raining, but it was a lot of fun. I would have turned around and done it again. It is definately one of my favorite rides.
On Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt

Scott took the time to help me with my photography. Learning how to use the light and choose the right settings can be so frustrating to me. He makes it all look so easy.

Then we took Scott's grandaughter with us to go to church while they went for a ride. The girls looked so dang cute in their Easter dresses. They came with matching dresses for their dolls.

Hannah is always so "lady-like"

But she got tired of me taking pictures

On Sunday afternoon we went for a hike in Snow Canyon. This is the way hiking works in our family. Hannah runs off so fast we spend the whole time telling her to wait up, Tony carries my camera equiptment, I take pictures, and Whitney dances. Ben just has fun.

The only bad parts of the trip were that Whitney got hives

We missed Sarah like CRAZY!
We missed seeing Jeni and Jason come to town.
Tony left his planner in St. George.
Driving home Monday was the anniversary of my mom's death. As if it wasn't depressing enough to be coming home from vacation.

You take beautiful pictures...u should start your own little business.
It looks like you had so much fun. St. Geoerge looks so nice. Mom and I'll have to go visit Auntie Bev when she moves there.
I loved the girls Easter dresses and the matching dolls, that's too cute!!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you've reached the professional level here for photography! What a fun trip too! We're heading to Moab this weekend...be prepared for some crappy pictures! If you get a new camera, can I buy your old one? It's amazing to me!

Sarah looked so cute in her dress on Sunday, and it matches Whitney and Hannah's dresses, cute!
