First day of School

I have been waiting to post pictures of the kids first day of school until Hannah started kindergarten. Ben and Whitney started last week. The cool thing about the above picture is that Ben put his arm around Whitney without me asking him to. Not only did this make my heart melt, but it made Whitney's day.

Whitney loves her teacher and thinks that "this will be the best year ever!" Her class works as a small country and she ran for the position of banker and won. She has started her dance and singing group again and now has about three hours of a dance a week.

Ben likes his teacher, he is in desperate need of another haircut in my opinion. We are in negotiations. He started his pre-comp swim team today and has four workouts a week. He is also loving going mountain biking with us and is really getting good.

Hannah was so miserable waiting for her turn to go to school last week. She also started her dance group again and is playing soccer with the same team she has for the last two years. Hannah always has one eye covered with her hair. No matter how it is styled it always ends up like this. Notice how sad Sarah is that Hannah is going to school and leaving her all day. She kept asking me if it was time to go pick up Hannah.

With the start of school and all the kid's activities I feel like I am constantly running. I literally don't sit down until they are all in bed (except for while I am driving). On top of all this I am having major Chad withdrawls as he left to Montreal on Sunday. I also got a new bike and Tony has talked me into learning how to use clip ins.

I have now had my first four crashes! I am embarrassed to say that they were all in the driveway and two of them I was just standing there with only one foot clipped in. I promised him that I would give it a try for five bike rides and if I am still a clutz he will put normal pedals on. So if you see me with skinned up knees, please no making fun!
